Re: emulator order for same named games
What part of QuickPlay? Search results maybe? Or saved searches? Or have you made a custom romdata with results for more than one system in? A screenshot might help. Guessing, i'd say that saved searches and custom romdatas are most likely to be able to be able to order alphanumerically by clicking ...

Re: Pixelated Preview Image
Sorry I didn't get round to setting this up myself, but I think stoniemahonie you answered the main question I had. However, it seems to me like you guys are both saying 'if QuickPlay has to downsize the image to fit it into the media panel, it loses some resolution'. Of course that would happen, th...

Re: How to change the default emulator for a system?
hey, yes I think you've missed something quite simple. QuickPlay's main data structure is the romdata.dat file, which is what you're looking at once you've scanned some games in to a folder. So if you have a 'game' that means you have a line in some romdata that associates a game file with an emulat...

Re: QuickPlay 4.7.4 is released
Two things I said I'd mention about the RetroArch EFind update: 1) BSnes (only BSNES, not BSNES mercury or 2014 or anything else) can now load Super Game Boy games, but the placement of the Super Game Boy roms needed to do that are not specified (unlike the other RetroArch SNES emulators which can d...

Re: New EFind Entries
thanks, yes thats a great idea - continue to remind what's missing in retroarch. It could be useful if you want to use something like Winmerge and do a diff between the old and new retroarch efinds to get an idea of the changes (the previous Retroarch version the Efind was for was 1.79, and this one...

Re: New EFind Entries
Hey there AFaustini - I just released the latest RetroArch 1.8.1 Efind Update with QuickPlay 4.7.4. There are very many changes in it, very many more than you posted to me originally, it took a long time to go throught them all (I need to automate this!). I think that RetroArch Efind changes need to...

QuickPlay 4.7.4 is released
the sole purpose of this release is to update the RetroArch EFind to the latest version (currently 1.8.1 of RetroArch - yeah i know they snuck out 1.8.2 a few days ago, but it took me a while to get around to releasing - mainly because i tried to get AFaustini's new QP Icons to work (I failed), and ...

Re: Pixelated Preview Image
i don't suppose if you play around with dragging the media panel to different sizes, that one of those sizes makes the image high-quality again? I haven't seen similar issues but I'm not so sensitive to imaging artifacts that i'd notice tbh. I have recently been worrying about the windows 'fix apps ...
