Re: version 4.1.4 contains malware?
So Sourceforge have whitelisted, just VirusTotal now....I looked on their FAQ https://www.virustotal.com/en/faq/ and found this: VirusTotal is detecting a legitimate software I have developed, please remove the detections VirusTotal acts simply as an information aggregator, presenting antivirus resu...

I've contacted SourceForge again (http://forums.quickplayfrontend.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11) Do you have any other information you can give to help me? Does VirusTo...

Re: ROMs --> Remove orphaned ROMs question
What you can do is make a copy of the romdata.dat for that folder before you run 'removed orphan roms' and then compare it (by eye or maybe with a diffing tool) against the state of the romdata.dat after you run that command - does this tell you something of interest?

Re: ROMs --> Remove orphaned ROMs question
Hey
What do you define as an 'orphaned rom'?
Maybe you mean a rom that no longer has a valid emulator associated in QuickPlay?
Or a rom defined in QuickPlay, but whose path is no longer valid?
Or something else?

Re: Quick Play and PCE CD games
sure. I also mount directly sometimes, i'm getting lazier these days, but the advice is generally to try to avoid it as there are loads of considerations for mounting disc images that are best contained in a single tool like daemon tools rather than spread out and duplicated across emulators - I thi...

Re: QUickPlay error
Hi MarcoForce- thanks for this, clearly this needs to be addressed - I did try to update the 7-zip32.dll that QuickPlay uses a few months back but when I did so I ran into many issues with existing Goodmerged sets. QuickPlay is using an older version of that dll and in theory its very easy to upgrad...

Re: Quick Play and PCE CD games
Hey I've never used Ootake - but there is a Multiloader for Magic Engine (the multiloader takes care of cd and dvd and zip mounting). So you should just need to: 1) make sure an efind finds the magic engine emulator - 'pce.exe' 2) in the Efind results window select to add the multiloader for it - it...

Re: Modern Systems Dats and screens
oh, ok - I wonder what build/version of RetroArch you are using?
I am making the MESS part of the RetroArch efind atm, so when I've finished that I will change these to your style since its most likely to work on Windows....
