Thank you Butter100fly. I see my issue now ... I created a folder named "extras" and created folder in that folder named dats. Now I have mame\extras\dats I moved the two dats into the dats folder and now QP is happy.
As always, thank you for pointing me in the right direction

Re: scan languages.ini
Thank you. Yes, I am referring to the external language.dat file. Still having a tough time selecting a MAME Extras folder. No matter what folder I direct QP to, I get this: The selected directory is not a valid MAME Extras folder (needs dats, folders, icons) language.dat current location: d:\emu\ma...

Re: QuickPlay 4.2.2 is released
Thanks for continuing to develop QP. I love the frontend and have been using it for a very long time. It's quite a versatile front end.

Re: New release
Excellent, thank you butter100fly!! I haven't yet gotten into MESS with softlists (seems ugly and burdensome to me) but I might just make the dive considering what you have done with QP and softlists.

Re: exiting PC games
Thanks again Butterfly. The /WAIT command - no idea where that came from. I removed it. As for the other options, I tried looking in the options of cmd.exe and do not see anything out of the ordinary. Also tried the other options you suggested. No joy. The problem is on my end so I will see what els...

Re: exiting PC games
Thanks Butter100fly.
Here's what I am using:
D:\QuickPlay\tools\ReactOS_CMD\cmd.exe
Here's the parameter:
/C start "QP" /D "%ROMDIR%" /WAIT /B "%ROM%"
Any suggestions?

Hello,
When exiting a PC game, how do I get QP to auto close the command window. Currently, the game exits but the command window remains opened.
Thanks,
Jason

Re: QuickPlay help menu points to a 404 error
The Wiki, yes. If you do that, I'd change the wording to QuickPlay Wiki (you're not directing to the forum). Maybe that's just my OCD kicking in? :) On the Wiki, you may want to post a link to the QP forum. I guess it depends on if you want more people to come here vs. the Wiki. On the other hand, t...

QuickPlay help menu points to a 404 error
Hello,
Using QuickPlay 4.1.5
Help --> QuickPlay Forums points here:
http://www.quickplayfrontend.com/index.php?act=idx
That URL generates a 404 error.
Should probably point here:
http://forums.quickplayfrontend.com
Thanks,
Jason
