Ahhh thanks very much that's awesome...sorry you were just a tiny bit late: I just released the latest version! (now I need to update the wiki for the changes)
This will def go in the next release, but hey, you don't need to wait for it now because you've got yourself an updated RetroArch.ini - reinstall it back over the upgrade! Can't wait to see what's in it

This option doesn't work with "Simpsons, The - Bart vs. the World (USA).7z" (and likely other files that have commas). File Explorer opens the "Computer" view instead of the roms folder.

Yes that's as the stackoverflow post I mentioned suggests, if Delphi 2006 will take it, I will try the ShellAPI approach Andreas corrected himself with

Just to let you know I fixed this without resorting to a different method, I just wasn't escaping properly which becomes very significiant since the windows api separates the method name from the arg with a comma! Fix will go in upcoming release very shortly
