If you're making big changes, this is a good opportunity to remove references to GoodNES, ACE files, and other deprecated technologies. No-Intro replaced GoodNES years ago.

This option doesn't work with "Simpsons, The - Bart vs. the World (USA).7z" (and likely other files that have commas). File Explorer opens the "Computer" view instead of the roms folder.

I think the simplest solution is to show the items in the subfolders in addition to what you've added / will add to the parent (if you add anything).

The toggle could be in the General Options window: "Show subfolder contents in nested folders"

Nested folders
If an empty folder has subfolders, it could display the contents of all of them (like virtual folders). Is there a reason why it doesn't work like that?

Okay. I'll use Sourceforge for further issues. "Re-scan mirrored directory" clears the current ROM list and creates a new list with all found ROMs. "Remove Orphaned ROMs" just removes from your lists ROMs that you've deleted from your disk. It doesn't change anything else or add new ROMs. If you use...

"Remove Orphaned ROMs" takes you out of virtual folder
Create a custom search/virtual folder and then use the Remove Orphaned ROMs option from the ROMs menu.
Result: After cleaning the list up, QP will select one of your systems.
Expected result: QP should reload the same search/virtual folder.
