QuickPlay Frontend

Hi guys, this is my fist post so before anything else, thank you for Quickplay, it's a great frontend for all emus and I love that is is able to run 7zip roms. Was even able to make MAME and FBA roms in that format and play them on those emus.

When I am working with SNES or Genesis roms I can see the game names in QP, however, when working with FBA or MAME, the filename for the rom (without the .7z extension) is shown instead. Am I missing something? Maybe a configuration or a missing dat file or something?

Sounds like you've just used the menu options for MAME. A few people have worked on something that's a LOT better than those, so I think you've missed the MAME PERL script in the TOOLS folder, and the MAME walkthrough on the WIKI: http://quickplay.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/MAME

One day soon i'll rewrite this functionality something other than PERL and integrate it, for now you'll need to download a windows perl binary and do some manual stuff.
