YES - this works excellently: I was able to incorporate these in minutes whilst frantically preparing a bugfix release (didn't manage to do the RetoroArch update posted elsewhere will do asap). Please keep posting here! I got up to here!

Hey there AFaustini - I just released the latest RetroArch 1.8.1 Efind Update with QuickPlay 4.7.4. There are very many changes in it, very many more than you posted to me originally, it took a long time to go throught them all (I need to automate this!). I think that RetroArch Efind changes need to be fixed to a version of RetroArch, and need full CRUD each time (creation of new records, updating of changed emulators, deletion of removed emulators). If the changes aren't fixed like this, things get messy and not updatable. So, though I would like to have new RetroArch emulators as they become available, I think its better to leave RetroArch efind entries out of this list, because I can't see a way to safely update RetroArch emulators individually, without a lot of work. They need to be methodically tied to a release of RetroArch in terms of a release of QuickPlay. Hope you understand: post non RetroArch emulator changes and additions in this thread, or just prompt me to update retroarch generally when lots of new changes happen (maybe?)

thanks, yes thats a great idea - continue to remind what's missing in retroarch.
It could be useful if you want to use something like Winmerge and do a diff between the old and new retroarch efinds to get an idea of the changes (the previous Retroarch version the Efind was for was 1.79, and this one was done against 1.81)
