Hi there, I'm returning to QP after many years absent!
I cannot remember if I could automatically choose a preferred rom in a goodmerge 7zip, Like, I'd like a preference list - [!] , USA, W, highest revision number ect.
Um, can that be done in QP, I seem to remember that I used to just not use the goodmerge functionality and just made my own filters for all the roms, a lot messier, and occasionally knocked some out or duplicated entries...
Any ideas? (BTW, I'm being pretty lazy - haven't really tried looking around yet! Sorry if I'm wasting everyone's time!)

Re: Setting preferred rom in a goodmerge set.
Welcome back!
Yes indeed you can click the plus to open a Goodmerge Rom Zip in the Rom window, which will display all the roms inside it, you can right-click any of them and 'set as default'. There's also functionality that my colleague Ulao made that, if enabled, will only display 100% working roms (ones marked in GoodMerge as '[!]') in that list. And even if you haven't selected a default, there's functionality that my colleague John made that will auto-select the ROM to run given regional preferences. You can find the settings for these described in the wiki under Folder Options here: http://quickplay.sourceforge.net/wiki/i ... er_Options
Helping someone play some of their old games is never a waste of time! But you will find these days that the Wiki has lots of information for pretty much everything you need to know (the Wiki is relatively new): http://quickplay.sourceforge.net/wiki/i ... /Main_Page
