Just wanted to make you all aware that there is a problem with Daemon Tools at the moment, where one of Microsoft's Spectre/Meltdown updates have broken DT's SCSI drive support. This means that Daemon Tools will be unable to create virtual SCSI drives. That isn't a problem for newer emulators like RetroArch (Daemon Tools' 'DT' drive type is suffiicient for them) but is a problem for older emulators where you might want or need to keep passing a virtual drive rather than the image file directly (random example: EPSXE). See here: https://forum.daemon-tools.cc/showthread.php?t=48800
A fix for now is to remove the affected KB updates (and you need to uninstall and then prevent reinstall eg: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hel ... g-in-windo
This should get fixed given some time...

Re: Daemon Tools issue
update: https://daemon-help.com/installation/windows_1903/
the registry changes here seem to fix this for now, but eventually SCSI and IDE drives will be phased out of DT, but we have some time to deal with this now

Re: Daemon Tools issue
I added this info to the wiki: http://quickplay.sourceforge.net/wiki/i ... ader_Guide
and I included info on how to change a multiloader efind to pass an image directly to the emulator if you'd rather do that instead
