Sorry for the delay. Have just tested it with mesen emulator (nes) and a few random roms and it works fine.
Guess I'll replace this qp.exe now. Thanks!
Updating QP
Re: Updating QP
Ok have just tested it and on a clean qp folder it works fine so far with mesen and a few random nes roms.
Now, replacing the qp.exe on my old qp folder (with all my emulators/roms + icons, etc) gives me the old error
[synctool] - checking rom path: E:\Emulación\NINTENDO\NES\NES FULL SET ROMS (16384)\Addams Family, The.7z
[synctool] - using local root: F:\
[synctool] - using remote root: Q:\
[synctool] - no work done: E:\Emulación\NINTENDO\NES\NES FULL SET ROMS (16384)\Addams Family, The.7z is not a subpath of local sync folder F:\
for a pair of seconds and then the game launches. Super weird.
And if I replace EVERYTHING, not just the .exe it works fine too. But I lose my background image but I made backups
Well, so far I guess it's fixed.
Thanks.

Re: Updating QP
Great news, hopefully that resolves 7zip issues for a while. We will have to move away from the Delphi 7z dll at some point in the future. I strongly dislike reading outdated strangely-translated japanese api docs in order to translate calls between old Delphi and old C++. This is not software development at its finest!
